Second Week of School
I was very excited the start a new website for my students and parents to visit when absent or forgot to write down their homework assignments. I think it will be just another avenue for students and parents and I to extend that communication to all be on the same page. I am going to announce this to all my students and am trying to figure out how to let all my parents know about this as well. Any ideas?? If you are curious about this free website (Krista Bretz) shared this with the math department...it is REALLY easy!!! Let me know if you are interested in trying it out :)

Remember that we have back to school night next week where you can share that information with parents. Another thought would be to have the students take home an information sheet that they have to have their parents sign and bring back as an assignment.
Why don't you link to your website from your blog so that we can all see.
Many teachers also gather email addresses from parents (either with their policies form or at back to school night) - you could let them know that way. And, of course, you should put the URL of your website both on the AHS website (give it to me and I'll link to it), and in Infinite Campus (where it will be linked from the portal - I can help with that if you can't figure it out as well).
I would love your help Karl. I think I got it on the AHS website under my website but I couldn't find a way to have the website link directly when you hit my name...like Krista and Michelle Crookham did??? The website (it's free too) is www.schoolrack.com/mjonson
